  • Al Fahidi Historical District – حي الفهيدي التاريخي – Bastakiya Historical Village – Built in the 1700s, the Fort is regarded as the oldest building in Dubai. It originally served as a defence post as well as office and residence of the ruler of Dubai. In 1971, it was converted to the Dubai Museum and now houses ancient artifacts and relics of the old way of life.
  • Al Fahidi Fort – Al Fahidi Fort – Late 1700s fortress, arsenal & prison, now a museum with displays on the history of Dubai.
  • Old souk – Old Souk ‘Of Arabia’ is the oldest market in Dubai and, although the predominant shops sell spice, low demand and tourism have led to other types of stalls being set up in its alleys.
  • Heritage Village – The Old Watchtower & Heritage Village – The Heritage Village was created in 1997 in Al Shindagha Historical Neighborhood in Dubai, close to the Diving Village, to embrace the heritage events and to display a live image of the old traditional life in UAE.
  • Dubai Gold Souk – Gold & Spice Souks – Gold Souks displays of necklaces, bracelets and earrings from more than 300 retailers, the Gold Souk is one of the most renowned gold jewelry trading centers in the world / Spice Souk – where vendors hawk flavors from across the globe, including cinnamon, ginger and chili. This is also the place to stock up on saffron, as you’ll find this delectable spice at a much lower cost here than you would at home.
